When your tire explodes, do not brake!

If you’re driving and one of your tires blows out, don’t brake! Although this may be your impulse, it is far better to keep your foot on the accelerator and maintain your pace.
When a tire blows, hitting the brakes might produce fishtailing, increasing the odds of colliding with another vehicle or person.
You should be able to drive off the road if you keep your foot on the pedal and maintain control of your vehicle.
