9- Meditation assists me in responding rather than reacting

The terms ‘response’ and ‘reaction’ have distinct meanings. A reaction is concerned with what one thinks before saying or doing anything. A response is when you act or say something without thinking about it first. Sometimes we respond rashly and afterward, regret what we said or did. Unfortunately, I am sometimes a victim of this. As previously stated, meditation allows me to focus and maintain a peaceful temperament throughout the day. As a result, instead of reacting to the outer environment, this allows me to think and respond more. It makes me more conscious of myself and those around me.
If you’re a skeptic like me, I hope you give it a shot. There are various styles of meditation, and there is one, particularly for you! I recommend watching YouTube tutorials on how to meditate properly. You can listen to soothing acoustic instrumentals or an hour of rain audio. You can also try any meditation app.
