A date helps the pair to get to know each other better one-on-one and away from distractions. It might be especially aggravating when they’re checking their Twitter feeds or responding to a friend on Facebook. It’s one thing to respond to a true emergency, but checking to see if anyone liked their most recent posts is completely inappropriate. They had the entire morning and because this date isn’t likely to lead to anything, the entire evening to do this.
