2- A lack of enthusiasm

As you get to work, take a look around and evaluate your coworkers’ moods. Are they arriving late for work? Are they departing early or, at the very least, bolting the moment their work shift ends? Do they appear to be relaxed or anxious? Is there casual banter between them and the rest of the staff, or does everyone appear on edge? If the responses to any of these questions are negative, you are most likely working in a toxic environment. When a few people are unmotivated, it spreads like wildfire throughout the office. After all, if one individual is clearly not working hard, why should anyone else? Examine the situation thoroughly and ask yourself if the work is truly worth it; if it isn’t, it’s time to send out those applications.
