05- Don’t skip meals

It can be tempting to skip meals when you’re pressed for time, feeling lazy, or simply not hungry, but if you don’t eat frequently enough, this can result in severe energy slumps. It’s particularly crucial to avoid skipping breakfast because, according to a study on medical students, skipping the morning meal has a detrimental effect on mood, energy, and concentration.
Food is the body’s fuel, and you need it to function efficiently throughout the day. However, eating isn’t just about consuming calories; you also want to ensure that the food you consume is as high-quality as possible. Eat a breakfast that fights weariness, including nutritious grains like oatmeal, low-sugar fruits like raspberries or blackberries, and lean protein like egg whites, to get your day off to the right start.
By avoiding high-sugar foods like pastries and processed cereal, which may taste good at the time but will just leave you feeling depleted afterward, you may prevent blood sugar rises. Even while coffee offers health advantages, consider lowering your intake as caffeine can also make you feel weary. According to a Cedars-Sinai Medical Center study, individuals reported feeling substantially more exhausted the day after consuming caffeine.
