Cooking with Certain Vegetable Oils

When you first hear the word “vegetable oil,” you might assume it means it’s healthy. However, this is untrue. Omega-6 fatty acids are present in several vegetable oils. This particular polyunsaturated fat has potential health benefits for the heart and may help prevent heart disease.
However, because of the high levels of linoleic acid, they contain, they can cause blood pressure to rise. Therefore, whenever you cook, go for healthier cooking oils like avocado, coconut, or olive. Even canola oil is more nutrient-dense than vegetable oil if none of them appeals to you.
