Brian’s big break as a young actor was the role of Andy Keaton on the 80’s comedy “Family Ties”. His role on the show was mostly to add some cuteness once the other kids grew up. But the cute kid grew up to be a vicious adult. He was charged with third-degree assault on two occasions. First, he assaulted his girlfriend, who claimed he splashed water on her face and choked her while she slept. Later, in a bar, he beat up his companion with a broken stool. He pleaded guilty both times and received two years of probation, and the second time he was also ordered to complete treatment for his mental health concerns and drug problem.
