When you’re incapable of accepting compliments
True story: when I was in my late teens, I told a girl she was really attractive. “How come everyone thinks I’m cute but no one thinks I’m beautiful?” she asks. I simply rolled my eyes. Men are turned off by this complete lack of confidence. Worse, it makes us assume that our compliments are absolutely pointless. Let’s face it: there will always be someone sexier, richer, skinnier, and more outgoing than you. Yet, this does not change the reality that if a guy is with you, it is because you are exactly what he is seeking.
