Your intimate friends, parents, and siblings would have to meet them at some point. Does this idea thrill you? If it does not, it is advisable to part ways before things become serious.
Similarly, if you are okay with exposing them to friends and family, it wouldn’t hurt to ask them what they think of him/her. If they receive a terrible sense, it’s conceivable they’re picking up on red signals you haven’t spotted yet.
