What attributes do you look for in a partner? Are you searching for someone who is a people pleaser or someone who is direct? Someone who likes going out on weekends or someone who wants to stay in and watch Netflix on Saturday nights? Nobody can satisfy every single personality choice, yet a relationship will fail if the person possesses none of the qualities you value.
Perhaps you’re just looking for a shoulder to cry on. Perhaps you are looking for a best friend. Of all, as previously stated, you may be looking for a “good time” without the accompanying responsibilities that come with a long-term commitment. You must assess whether you are joining the relationship for the correct reasons and whether this person can assist you in achieving your goals (assuming they are mutual).
