The Hindu structure of Prambanan has three primary buildings dedicated to Trimurtis, or Gods of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The Shiva temple is the highest and is located in the center. Each of such temples has a number of chambers, with the main room housing a statue of the particular Deity.

It was constructed in the 10th century using classic Hindu architecture. The Prambanan complex contains 240 temples, including three Trimurtis temples, three Vahana temples, two Apit temples, two Kelir temples, four Patok temples, and 224 Pervara temples.
