This temple, located in Tamilnadu, India, is one of the most prominent Vishnu temples in the world. This temple is actually dedicated to one of Lord Vishnu’s forms. It is the country’s largest temple, covering an area of 156 acres.
It was built in the Dravidian style of architecture. Throughout the temple, there are 21 separate towers, the main gopura, or tower is entirely made of gold. One of the temple’s towers stands 236 feet tall and is decorated in various hues.
