Dreaming about ex-lovers
Nobody should dwell in the past, which is why many get scared when they dream about ex-lovers. Is it true that having a dream about an old flame indicates that you haven’t moved on?
The truthful answer is “it depends.” For example, if you have unresolved relationship baggage, you may be dreaming about an ex because your brain craves closure. But, if you date someone for a while, they are more likely to appear in your dreams even after you stop dating them since your brain has classified them as “someone you know.” As a result, you may be dreaming about them, like you do about other people you know since your brain is remembering some feature about them that you recognize in yourself.
And you may relax: whatever your reason for dreaming about an old flame, it’s most likely not because you want to rekindle your relationship.
