There are several steps that individuals can take to reduce their risk of developing cancer:

-Do don’t smoke or use tobacco products: Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable deaths worldwide and is linked to numerous types of cancer, including lung, mouth, throat, bladder, kidney, and pancreatic cancer. If you currently smoke, quitting is one of the best things you can do to reduce your risk of cancer.

-Eat a healthy diet: A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains and low in red and processed meats, sugar, and unhealthy fats may help reduce the risk of cancer. It is also important to maintain a healthy weight.

-Exercise regularly: Regular physical activity has been shown to reduce the risk of several types of cancer, including breast, colon, and prostate cancer. On most days of the week, aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise.

-Limit your alcohol intake: Excessive alcohol consumption has been linked to an increased risk of several types of cancer, including breast, liver, and colorectal cancer. It is recommended to limit your alcohol intake to no more than one drink per day for women and two drinks per day for men.
