14-Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson — 23-Year Age Gap
Back in 2008, when Aaron Taylor-Johnson was 18, known for his role in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, he crossed paths with 41-year-old director Sam Taylor-Johnson. Their meeting occurred as Aaron auditioned for a role in Sam’s debut film, Nowhere Boy. Despite scheduling challenges due to his commitment to Kick-Ass, Aaron’s audition impressed Sam with his thorough research and presence.
In a 2019 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Sam acknowledged that despite maintaining professionalism on set, it was evident to everyone that they were a couple. Aaron surprised Sam with a proposal in 2009, declaring his intent to marry her immediately after filming wrapped. They welcomed their first child in 2010 and their second in 2012, eventually marrying in the summer of 2012.
