Everyone defines privacy differently, and it’s critical to discuss yours with roommates, dating partners, and others. You determine how much you communicate, and even if your lives intersect in some manner, you have control of your thoughts and are not compelled to disclose every idea, sensation, or want. Sometimes a conversation violates your privacy, while other times it’s a partner snooping on your phone.
